About Us:

White Rose Independent Funeral Directors was founded in 2018 by owner and director, Deane Skinner.

It is our aim to be the first choice for families in the local communities of Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding villages. We are a small, experienced team led by Deane, who will respond to your initial phone call and guide you through the entire process of arranging and conducting your loved one’s funeral.

Deane has a wealth of experience, joining his Funeral Director father and sister in their family business as an apprentice after leaving school. Working his way up to Funeral Director, after more than a decade managing his dad’s businesses, Deane was inspired by the birth of his daughter Rose in 2016 to begin his own business of the same name in 2018.  

As an Independent Funeral Director, White Rose prides itself on being able to provide a truly bespoke funeral experience, tailored to the exact wishes of the families with whom we work.
